A grain-inclusive dry kibble built around deboned lamb and chicken meal as the primary protein sources, with brown rice, barley, oat meal, and quinoa supplying the carbohydrate base. Lamb meal and salmon meal add additional protein, chicken fat and salmon oil contribute fat, and flaxseed adds omega fatty acids. The recipe also includes apples, carrots, dehydrated alfalfa meal, miscanthus grass, taurine, rosemary extract, glucosamine and chondroitin sulfate for joint support, and a probiotic blend (Enterococcus faecium, Lactobacillus acidophilus, Lactobacillus casei, Lactobacillus plantarum). The formula contains no potatoes, peas, lentils, corn, or soy. Caloric density is 3724 kcal/kg (442 kcal per cup).
