A grain-inclusive dry kibble built around deboned beef as the primary protein source, with brown rice, oat meal, barley, and quinoa supplying the carbohydrate base. Pork and bone meal and salmon meal add additional protein, pork fat and salmon oil contribute fat, and flaxseed adds omega fatty acids. The recipe also includes apples, carrots, alfalfa meal, miscanthus grass, taurine, glucosamine and chondroitin sulfate for joint support, and a probiotic blend (Enterococcus faecium, Lactobacillus acidophilus, Lactobacillus casei, Lactobacillus plantarum). The formula contains no potatoes, peas, lentils, corn, or soy. Caloric density is 3711 kcal/kg (460 kcal per cup).
