A grain-inclusive dry kibble formulated for the growth of large-breed puppies (70 lb or more as an adult). Chicken is the first ingredient, followed by rice, corn protein meal, whole grain corn, and poultry by-product meal, with whole grain wheat in the carbohydrate base. Fish oil and beef fat preserved with mixed tocopherols supply DHA and other fatty acids to support brain and vision development, and the recipe contains a guaranteed level of glucosamine plus controlled calcium and phosphorus to support bone and joint development in growing large-breed dogs. Animal feeding tests using AAFCO procedures substantiate complete and balanced nutrition for all life stages, including growth of large-sized dogs.
