Sweet potato, pea starch, dried peas, potato, and tapioca supply the carbohydrate base, replacing grains. Canola meal, sunflower meal, and dried plain beet pulp add fiber, while chicken fat and whole flaxseed provide fat and omega-3 and omega-6 fatty acids. The formula includes supplemental taurine and joint-support compounds (glucosamine 400 mg/kg, chondroitin sulfate 200 mg/kg). Caloric density is 3570 kcal/kg (365 kcal per cup).
